E-Mobility

Overview

The E-Mobility Division strives to accelerate adoption of Electric-Mobility in the country promoting the 7Cs that is common, connected, convenient, congestion-free, charged, clean, and cutting-edge - seamlessly integrated, free of congestion, powered by clean energy, and driven by forward-looking innovation.

Core Functions
  • The Division undertakes policy formulation and evaluation to drive the sustained and holistic development of the E-Mobility Sector.

  • It is entrusted with the appraisal of projects/proposals, along with policy research and advocacy for various initiatives across the E-Mobility Sector.

  • It renders policy inputs and recommends interventions to Line Ministries through structured discussions and policy papers.

  • It oversees all schemes and programmes pertaining to E-Mobility.

  • The Division coordinates with implementing partners and state-level stakeholders to design and roll out awareness, outreach, and infrastructure-readiness initiatives supporting EV adoption across the country.
